FieldQuote AI Support

FieldQuote AI is a mobile-first tool for contractors to build professional quotes, change orders, and invoices. To get started:

• Create an account from the home page, then sign in.
• In Settings, add your business name, your name, email, phone, country, currency, and business address — these appear on every quote and invoice.
• Set default pricing in Settings (tax rate, hourly rate, minimum job, markup) to pre-fill new quotes. You can override any value per quote.
• Optionally upload a logo so your documents carry your branding.

To create a quote:

• Open New Quote and describe the job in a few sentences.
• FieldQuote AI drafts a title, scope of work, and suggested line items. You enter quantities, units, and prices — the AI never invents rates or totals.
• Review the preview, then share it with your customer. Sharing a Draft quote moves it to Sent and records the sent date.
• Each quote has a public link your customer can open without an account.

Customers act on quotes through their public link:

• A customer can approve, request changes, or decline a quote; the response and date are recorded on the quote.
• If the scope changes after a quote is sent, create a change order from the quote to document the additional work, cost, and schedule impact.
• Change orders have their own public link for customer approval, with their own status tracking.

To bill a job:

• Create an invoice from a quote and any approved change orders; line items and totals are brought in automatically.
• Share the invoice link with your customer. They can pay online by card (via Stripe), by Apple Pay (via Stripe, on supported devices), or by PayPal.
• FieldQuote does not store full payment-card numbers; payments are processed by the payment provider.
• Automatic invoice reminders can be enabled in Settings to follow up unpaid invoices by email.
